It’s been a while since I’ve done a meals lately post and I thought I’d pop on here with some meal inspo for you.
Hot buttery croissants and coffee. Happened several times.
My pumpkin pie baked oatmeal because I start craving pumpkin in July every year. Paired with an orange and coffee.
Toasted purple corn & rye sourdough with butter + almond butter + watermelon. Always coffee.
Raspberry jelly doughnut with eggs + salsa! For me, doughnut by itself: not quite full, MEGA HUNGRY an hour later. Doughnut + eggs or a latte or other fat/protein source: full for 3 hours and then only hungry enough for a snack.
More baked oatmeal, banana + barney butter.
Instantly afterwards I was craving salty like CRAZY. Originally I was going to have a pumpkin cookie + buttery scrambled eggs with salsa, but opted for this because Mark and I were going to go walking through a conservation area and I thought this would keep me going better… But then I just ended up wanting salty things because I didn’t have the eggs.
SO I had some vegetable crackers. Not vegetables made in to crackers… the vegetable flavored kind of crackers, ha. Lesson learned.
Burgers! Because summer! This one had salsa, avocado ranch, mustard, pickled red onion, lettuce and steak spice. Really random but really really good!
Salad with more toasted purple corn bread + butter, smoked chicken, lots of avocado, romaine, arugula, cucumber, tomato, avocado ranch dressing.
Grilled chicken, green pea rotini, cucumber, marinara, pesto added after.
Grilled chicken + pesto, grilled asparagus and a potato with butter.
Southwest chile lime ranch chicken salad. Paners copycat! I ate this immediately after photographing for the blog.
Homemade Tuscan tartufata pizza. Recipe coming soon!
Naan pizza + salad
Cheeseburger + veggies.
Leftover naan pizza, leftover salmon, salad with blue cheese.
Southwest chile lime ranch salad, followed up by a piece of purple corn bread toast with butter. The plan was to make homemade poutine but I wound up doing a fairly sweaty Fitness Blender workout and afterwards I couldn’t be bothered to make it… so I threw together this salad instead.
Tonight I’m making the poutine! I’ll probably add the chicken from the southwest salad. Yum.

Obsessed with these pear ciders!
La Croix mixed with pomegranate juice. Bubbly drinks are so refreshing when it’s super hot out 🙂
Sally’s pumpkin oatmeal cookies. Forever craving pumpkin in July.
Various versions of chocolate covered almonds. Most recent favourite is dark chocolate +coconut!
frozen blueberries + cheese or almonds OR apples + brie that always goes unpictured.
I actually don’t snack much these days. Not sure why. I think my meals have just been really filling lately so I’ve had less of an urge to snack. So it goes.
